Welcome to Bayswater College, founded in 1973. We offer engaging experiences through education at all stages of life. Through adventure, education and formal qualifications, Bayswater College has been providing global citizens with valued experiences for over 45 years.
We provide a platform to effective learning through travel, accommodation, classes and activity programs and we offer structured guidance throughout your journey. We also want to extend our mission beyond our borders, so when you enrol with us we offer the same education to a disadvantaged person. For every week of tuition that a student studies with us, we will give a week of education to underprivileged people from where our students are recruited. We set out to create a global network of Colleges, focusing initially on teaching English to International students.
Bayswater Summer will be operating in three locations this summer, London, University of Herfordshire and University of Nottingham. If you would like to enjoy a rewarding experience and be part of a dynamic team who will be offering interactive and exciting activities alongside the student English lessons, then please contact us!
We want all our students to leave having had a wonderful experience. Our aim is to help students make new friends, improve their English with dynamic and interactive lessons, experience British culture and most importantly leave having had fun. We are therefore looking for team members to join us this summer who have the ability to lead, inspire and ensure our students have a memorable experience.
The role involves the teaching English as a second language or other language alongside taking groups of students on cultural and educational visits and is expected to provide information at points of interest in accessible language for the students, give students tasks and learning opportunities on excursions, ensure the welfare and safety of the group and also provide a fun, engaging and exciting experience for our students visiting the UK. In the evenings of our residential centres we also offer evening activities led by our activity leaders but aided by all staff. We aim to have a mix of fun and educational activities and these can include discos, quiz nights, talent shows and sports among many other things.
The English Language Teacher / Activity Leader role at Bayswater Summer has core responsibility for:
