Atlas Language School is a vibrant, expanding language teaching organisation. We were established in 2003 and are headquartered in Dublin city. We are a Cambridge English exam centre and a recognised centre for teacher training in Ireland. In addition, we run junior summer centres in Ireland, England and Italy. We are ACELS accredited in Ireland and the British Council accredited in the UK. Our new year-round centre opened in Malta in 2019.

Our school in Pembroke, Malta is looking to recruit creative, dynamic and effective English Language Teachers who are keen to learn, grow with us and share our exciting journey.

We cannot assist with visa applications at the moment, so please only apply if you are an EU national/are already living in Malta or willing to move to Malta from within the EU.
Also we can only accept Cambridge CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL as teaching certificates (DELTA or DipTESOL are also accepted). More than likely, it will also be necessary for the teacher to get an ELT permit once in Malta. Ideally, the candidate will have morning and afternoon availability.
What You’ll Do:
- Plan and deliver motivating and challenging lessons
- Adapt your teaching style to meet the needs of students from a variety of countries and cultural backgrounds
- Develop a positive rapport with both students and other staff members.
You’ll also:
- Bring open thinking and a willingness to develop into your teaching
- Select and develop supplementary teaching and learning materials to support teaching and learning at Atlas
- Assist, from time to time, with course development through participation in level and course evaluations.
You’ll rock at this if:
- You can confidently and effectively communicate ideas in easy to understand ways
- You are passionate about teaching and learning and developing your skills
- You value self-direction and creativity and can work successfully with others
- You have held previous teaching posts elsewhere in Europe and/or further afield
- You love to give and receive honest, thoughtful feedback and are keen to take Continuous Professional Development opportunities.
Excellent pay and conditions with starting rates from 13 – 16 euro per hour.
